Final exam. September 2016

Hi! As you know students who didn’t pass the course in June, you will have another opportunity in September. You will need to take a global exam in which you will be asked to answer questions about the six units we have studied this year. You will need to get at least 5 out of 10 points in the exam to pass. In order to prepare for the exam, here you have some activities to practice (click on the e-links):

• Unit 1 (Technology and Design):

- steps one, two and three of the technological process

- solutions to solve problems

• Unit 2 (Graphical Communication):

- measuring with a ruler 1 and measuring with a ruler 2

- drawing parallel and perpendicular lines

- drawing views of an object: one, two, three and four

• Unit 3 (Materials):

- classification 1 , classification 2 and classification 3

- properties 1, properties 2 and properties 3

• Unit 4 (Electricity):

- circuit diagrams

- electric circuits (connections 1 and connections 2 with crocodile)

- electric circuits (components 1 and components 2)

- types of connections 1 and connections 2

• Unit 5 (Computer and the Internet):

- devices we need to connect to the Internet

- objects related to the use of the Internet

• Units 6 (Programming)

- activities with Scratch (http://scratch.mit.edu)

OK. Remember these are only a selection of the activities you can practice with. Besides you can browser over the blog to find  the complete IT activities we have been working on. Finally, it would be a good idea to use the workbook to complete the activities (at least for unit 2). Good luck.
